Jiangsu E Motors Co., Ltd. (short for EM) is a high-tech foreign-funded enterprise, which specializes in researching and manufacturing pure electric vehicles and related key parts. Our company aims to promote and develop alternative energy automobile industry in China, while working rigorously on improving environmental condition of the world, alleviating the energy crisis and making positive contributions to regional economic development.

For a long time, EM has been oriented in technical advancement as well as innovation. Our scientific practice has made big breakthroughs in the technical field of EV together with our three key components which are electric engines, batteries and electronic control systems, and acquired the whole proprietary intellectual property rights. Through multiple testing by national authorities such as National Quality Control and Inspection Center for Automobiles and Identification and Testing Center for Motor Vehicle of China, EM pure electric vehicle can run 600km for per single charge and consume 8KWh of electricity for 100km, and the highest speed is 130km per hour; EM pure electric motor coach can run more than 500km for per single charge and consume about 40KWh of electricity for 100km. The major performance figures of EM electric vehicles have been at the leading level at home and abroad. At present, over 10 samples of pure electric vehicles manufactured by our company are operated in various environments, climates and working conditions in city, village, highland and cold areas, covering more than 200,000 miles altogether. It has been shown that EM pure electric vehicles have advanced technology as well as excellent safety, stability and reliability.

Our newly set up company is located in Wujin Hi-Tech Zone, Changzhou, with registered capital of 100 million Hong Kong dollars, and nine production lines are installed at newly constructed 20,000-square-meter lithium ion battery workshop which holds the capacity of nearly 30 million Ah/year. EM has become the biggest power-type lithium ion battery manufacturer in Yangtze River Delta. To strengthen the R & D investment in Changzhou Science and Education Base, EM has cooperated with Chinese Academy of Science to establish Jiangsu Institute of Electric Vehicles.

On February 3rd, 2010, Jiangsu E Motors' 100,000 electric automobile production projects were officially launched in Wujin Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Changzhou, Jiangsu. Our company plans to invest RMB500 million at the first stage, with an area of 500 acres. Our company will adopt the construction principle of "optimizing configuration, integrating resources and complementing advantages", rely on strong industrial base of Changzhou and form the industrial chain. When the project is put into operation in 2012, the electric vehicle production capacity will reach 100,000 sets per year. This will bring more benefits to EM, and will promote the trend of alternative energy automobile industry.
